It is our great pleasure to announce,
Kentucky Nepali Society is hosting 2010-Association of Nepalese in Mid-West
America (ANMA) and Nepalese Association in Southeast America (NASeA) joint convention
in Lexington, Kentucky during Labor Day weekend September 3-5 in downtown Hilton.
This model has worked very successfully for both of the organizations for several
years. This partnership has played vital role in championing several issues related
to Nepali Diaspora. Both organizations are committed to continue to enhance and
uplift our community.
It goes without saying that these conventions have brought several resolutions for
the issues that our community is facing in day-to-day basis. To this end, upcoming
convention will also focus on several programs, including, but not limited to healthcare,
common investment, youth programs, cultural center, women's issues, leadership development,
immigration, tax etc.
We are also very fortunate that Non-Resident-Nepali National Coordination Council
of America (NRN-NCC-USA), also known as NRN-America, has decided to hold NRN
Forum during ANMA-NASeA general convention. We would like to invite
all Nepali organizations to join us and make this forum and joint convention very
successful.
We would like to assure all of you that you will get great southern hospitality
with special focus to visit home state of "Kentucky Derby".
Hotel is located in downtown with several restaurants and lot of touristic features.
